Yana is a licensed, trilingual speech-language pathologist fluent in English, Russian, and Ukrainian. She earned her Master's degree from New York University and her Bachelor's degree from Brooklyn College. Specializing in speech and language deficits, reduced motor function involved in speech and feeding, and social pragmatic challenges, Yana is also PROMPT trained (a technique that supports motor planning development in children with various motor speech disorders).
 

Yana’s passion for working with children began early in life. She found joy in spending time with kids through play and interaction. Her journey took a pivotal turn when she met a child with special needs, igniting her commitment to improving the lives of children facing speech and language challenges. Yana’s ultimate goal is to help children reach their full potential, fostering their speech, language, and social skills to ensure they live their best lives.
 

Reach for Speech was established to serve the Bensonhurst community in Brooklyn, NY, providing specialized intervention to children of all ages.
